German engineering and electronics group Robert Bosch GmbH has agreed to acquire Johnson Controls International ( JCI )'s global heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning ( HVAC ) business for residential and light commercial buildings in an all-cash deal valued at US$8.1 billion.
